Join Dee & Shannon in a 3-part, video recorded, in nature, and online workshop to learn their simple yet effective method,grounded in current brain research and ancient yoga philosophy.
Here's how this unique workshop will unfold:
Part I: Sunday, Nov. 1st, receive the introductory video via email. Dee & Shannon will outline important information to guide you through the entire retreat process. Detailed instructions for Part II are included in this video.
Part II: You will carve out a time during the week, prior to Nov. 7th, to go out into a natural setting (this could be any place where you can observe nature, such as the woods, a field, neighborhood park, lake or pond, or even your back yard). You will bring a blanket to sit on, a journal for note taking, and maybe even a thermos of tea or hot chocolate. The video will have given you some guidance on mindfully connecting with your chosen natural setting and how to open to the wisdom provided by Nature. You will also be looking for a nature totem (leaf, stone, stick, or other article from your chosen natural setting) to bring back with you and use during our session on Nov. 7th.
Part III: Saturday, November 7th at 10:00 AM, we will meet live, over Zoom. (This session will also be recorded in case anyone experiences technical difficulties with connecting live). During Part 3, Dee and Shannon will lead you through our “I-AM” method, a process for soothing the unsettled mind and re-establishing a sense of harmony and coherence, within the mind and body. This session will include some gentle yoga movement. We’ll use our nature totems and connect with our Nature experience from Part 2. You will leave with a set of tools for connecting with the wisdom inherent in Nature and a method for awakening your inner force for harmony and coherence, anytime and in any setting.
