Knobby Ball for Myofascial Health - Stiff joints and tight muscles in the morning? The culprit is mysofascial tissue. The answer is Knobby Ball! We use a special, soft "knobby ball" in key places on the body to release myofascial tissue that stiffens overnight, causing morning achiness and limited range of motion. To ensure you have the "right" knobby ball you will have to contact us. We will send a link to our favorite retailer (we do not receive any rewards from the retailer.) Or you can as us to send the properly inflated knobby ball and a handy packet of illustrated instruction cards. This class is a FAVORITE! You won't believe the results!!!
Mixed Level Hatha/Flow - Hatha Yoga refers to the practice of physical yoga postures, known as asanas in Sanskrit. In this mixed level class we take our time in each posture and focus on alignment, efficient movement of breath, and clarity of intention. We flow through a variety of asanas, standing, sitting, and lying on the floor. The effect is a stronger, more flexible, more balanced body, mind and spirit. While not for the complete novice, this class is suitable for most levels of fitness and yoga experience. Appropriate modifications are made to all poses, depending on the experience and ability of the practitioner.
Shakti Yoga for Women - Taught by a pair of experienced women yoga teachers on alternate Tuesday evenings, this study of yoga philosophy, meditation, and physical practice is designed to stretch and strengthen mind, body and spirit.
